One Touch Silicone Jack Rabbit-Sexpert Review
Overview/Use
As a part of the CalExotics Sexpert program I was sent out the Silicone Jack Rabbit One Touch for the month of December. This particular Jack Rabbit comes in 3 colors Blue (pictured left), pink and purple. I love that I got blue cause I prefer an array of colors in my collection and don't want it overran by pink toys.
Like most rabbits this one is a dual stimulating toy meaning it stimulates more then just the clitoris or just by penetration. With rabbit style vibes you can penetrate while getting clitoral stimulation as well. Since the shaft is flexible you could also use this bunny for G-Spotting. If you like your perineum stimulated while you you can easily turn this around with the attachment facing the direction you need to stimulate the perineum.
This could be beginner friendly depending on what they are use to girth wise, this rabbit has an insertable length of 4.25 inches and has a girth of 1.5 inches in the largest part of the shaft which is the tip in this case and slims down towards the middle of the shaft. Even though this Jack Rabbit is geared towards those who are female bodied those who are male bodied could get pleasure from it just the same if you like anal penetration. While there isn't a flared base there is the clitoral attachment that will help keep it from getting lost in the dark hole. Males can use this for anal penetration an allow the attachment to stimulate the testicles.
This toy isn't discreet if you leave it laying around or you travel with it an have a bag check whoever sees it will know what it is used for. If you are like me an could careless about who knows about your toys usage then you wouldn't have an issue traveling with this. Make sure though to removed batteries before traveling.
Material
The Silicone Jack Rabbit is made out of....You guessed it silicone. Silicone is a body safe material that is nonporous, latex free, phathlates free and hypoallergenic. This means a lot when choosing a material of your sex toy. Silicone makes it easy to clean especially if sharing with your partner or your own orifices. Silicone doesn't hold and harbor bacteria like some porous sex toy materials do. The silicone used for the Silicone Jack Rabbit has some give to it in the tip and a lot of give in the center of the toy. You are able to move the clitoral attachment around some as well but might not be enough to get it where you need it to be.
Silicone often times has a draggy feeling to it when it is ran along skin or inserted without lubricant. The Silicone Jack Rabbit does have drag to the material but can easily be fixed with lubricant of your choice. I will explain below in the Care Section what lubes are recommended when using silicone.
Controls & Functions
With the name of Silicone Jack Rabbit One Touch Vibe you will know that there is one ONE control you have to worry about hence the "One Touch" mention. On the bottom of the battery cap is where you will find the easy push button control. There is only one control that operates the dual motors inside the rabbit so you will not get different patterns for internal/external vibrations like many of the other rabbit style vibes on the market. It is super easy to push the button to power on your rabbit as well as change the settings. There are 10 settings between steady vibrations to pulsation and escalation. One things I found odd with the rabbit is where most start you off on the lowest setting it has this one starts you off on the highest steady vibration setting which I kinda like in away then it goes to the lower speed settings and patterns. To power on you would hit the power button once, to power off hold the power button down for 3-5 seconds. If you have to turn your toy off in a hurry don't worry its simple and easy your setting you were last on is saved as well. While the vibrations are pretty powerful considering how it is powered I did find the vibrations to be very buzzy.
The battery cap is easy to remove but can be a pain to line up just right an get back on.The Silicone Jack Rabbit is powered by 2AAA batteries which are not included. The battery cap has a light in it that illuminates and flashes while it is in use this could be off putting if you play in a low light or dark setting. You vajay jay will look like its sending out a mores code if you like the pulsating settings.
On a scale of 1-5 for power I would say its about a 4 on the highest speed. For sound on a 1-5 scale I would put this at a 1 no one will hear it through a closed door. However your partner may hear it if they are in the same room as you but that is unlikely I found this to be pretty quiet.
Since to me the patterns seem to feel about the same or run together I won't list them out individually like I normally do. I will say that with the buzziness of the vibrations you could experience numbness instead of pleasure. Just holding it while playing with the patterns to write the review my fingers went numb. Numbing for me in the toy world is not a good thing.
The website as well as the packaging states that this is waterproof but I personally didn't try out that feature as it is usually a fail for me. I don't like taking chances with toys I may like.
Packaging
The packaging for the Jack Rabbit is pretty much to the point, it gives a good amount of information on the back about speeds, batteries and special features such as being waterproof. I def would say that the packaging isn't discreet as it is clear and has pictures of the toy on it. Inside the vibe rests in a plastic shell that holds it in place during shipping.
I know most toss the packaging to their toys and find alternatives to storing them. I personally store all my toys in original packaging. If you choose not to keep the packaging since it is all plastic you can toss it in the recycling bin. There were no instructions on how to place the batteries or to use the toy which happens with most toys I get. I think it would be great if toy companies included a how to booklet whether it be what the item is used for or cleaning the product. Some people don't know how to clean their toys properly unless they come across a review blog, a site that has all this information or a friend who can help.
Caring & Storage
Caring for your Silicone Jack Rabbit One Touch Vibe is pretty simple and there are a few ways to clean it but only one way that will sterilize it. You can use antibacterial toy cleaners, antibacterial soap & warm water, toy/baby wipes or a 10% bleach solution* to clean your silicone rabbit. Make sure you clean thoroughly, rinse well and make sure your toy is dry before storing. The 10% bleach solution is the ONLY way to sterilize this particular toy since it has a motor inside you won't want to boil it or toss it in the dishwasher. Boiling or dishwashing your Jack Rabbit can damage the motors due to high heat.
You can store your rabbit in its original packaging if you wanted to like I do. If you choose not to keep the original packaging you can purchase toy pouches or use Ziploc bags to keep your toys from touching. Some toy materials can react with others and we don't want ruined toys.
To get rid of the drag of the silicone you can use a personal lubricant. Water based lubricants are recommend since silicone can bond with silicone lubricants. If you must use a silicone lube always spot test on a part that won't be inserted into the body.
My Experience
My personal experience was neither good nor bad, it just wasn't over the top where I like to be after a play session. I love the products CalExotics makes from the design to even the power but sadly only select few of their toys fall into the category. I am not a fan of buzzy vibrations. The thicker "head" worked great against my G-Spot really well and felt amazing. Sadly for me though the clitoral attachment didn't even do the job I needed it to do.
I am not sure how good the waterproof aspect of this is as I don't water test my toys that often. This rabbit like all my other silicone toys were pretty simple to clean. I do want to mention though to take more time to clean the clitoral attachment as the ears try hiding fluids between them.
This isn't a 100% dud but wasn't over the top toe curling either.
