Entice Round #3 Lillian
For the Month of October I received my 3rd item from the Entice Line, up for review is the Entice Lillian. You read my experiences with the other items I got from the Entice line here: Entice Marilyn & Entice Isabella.
Overview/Design
Lillian is a dual stimulating vibrator most know them to be "rabbit style" vibrators. If you like vaginal penetration and clitoral stimulation you will want to get rabbit style vibes. The Lillian isn't like any of the other rabbit style vibrators in my collection. Lillian is very petite and not intimidating at all so it would be great for beginners. Intermediate or Expert toy users might not get much out of the Lillian. While it is designed for vaginal penetration and clitoral stimulation because of the clitoral attachment you could easily use this for anal play as well. Another way you can use the Lillian is penetrating vaginally while stimulating the perineum or the outer part of the anus. If you do ANY anal play or teasing please make sure you sterilize the Lillian before using it vaginally to prevent spread of bacteria. Being made of body safe silicone you can share the Lillian with partners or orifices as long as you sterilize it between uses. You can also tease breasts, nipples, penises, testicles an other parts of the body with Lillian as well.
As I mentioned earlier she is very petite measuring in at approximately 6 inches in total length with 3.25 inches of that being insertable. Lillian is around 1.25 inches in diameter so pretty thin and very little girth to her. Being she is on the smaller side it is great for beginners as well as for those who like to take little things along on trips.
You can get the Lillian in 2 different colors raspberry and purple.
What Is It Made Of?
Lillian is made out of smooth body safe silicone. Silicone is a nonporous material that is also latex free, hypoallergenic and phthalates free. If you allergic to many materials or are worried about getting an infection that will cause you to have to toss a toy use SILICONE. Being nonporous silicone will NOT absorb your bodily fluids or harbor bacterial within the material. Silicone can also be sterilized to kill any bacteria it may encounter. For the most part the silicone on the Lillian is smooth with no texture with an exception of a swirly line on each side of the shaft. The swirly line on the side of the shaft doesn't really provide any type of stimulation enhancement or a specific sensation while in use. I personally can't feel it while the vibe is in use. The silicone used for the Lillian really has no give to it nor is it plush. Some silicone can be super squishy the Lillian is not so if you don't like hard material toys you might want to think about it before jumping in head first.
You will also find very little ABS plastic on the battery cap. ABS plastic is also nonporous, latex and phthalates free.
Controls & FunctionsLillian is powered by 2AAA batteries which easily slides into the battery cradle that fits perfectly inside the shaft. Those 2 batteries power the dual motors #1 can be found in the shaft and #2 can be found in the clitoral attachment. With the simple push of a single button you are off for pleasure or are you? That will be fully discussed later in the review. I did find that changing the settings while in use was possible depending on how you planned to hold the Lillian. When you go through the speeds and the patterns since there is only ONE button to control it and you accidentally change the setting you have to scroll back through all the settings to get back to the one you were on. To turn off your Lillian you will want to hold the button down for about 3 seconds before it will power off. With a toy that has dual motors you would think that each motor would have its own control sadly the Lillian does not both motors do the SAME thing at the SAME time. This poses a problem for some if they need more internal vibration and not some external/clitoral vibration. I like being able to control my motors separately I like patterns vaginally and strong steady clitoral vibrations. If you are like me this might not work out so well.
As mentioned above you can turn Lillian off easily by holding the power/control button down for 3 seconds. This particular toy doesn't have a memory setting where it remembers the last used setting when powered off.
When powered on the control lights up RED an stays steady for the most part.
The vibrations settings I will explain the best way possible below.
According to the information from CalExotics the Lillian has 8 functions BUT I found that there is only Seven Functions.
1.)Low Steady Vibrations
2.)Medium Steady Vibrations
3.)Strong Steady Vibrations
4.)Pulsation With Escalation
5.)Fast Short Pulsation
6.)Slower Short Pulsation
7.)Pulsations going from short fast to one long pulsation
The vibrations are pretty strong for the most part ranging from a 2 to a 4 that is on a 1-5 scale with 5 being the highest speed. The range of 2 would be on the lowest speeds. In my personal opinion I found the vibrations to be more buzzy then rumbley.
PackagingJust like the rest of the Entice Collection the Lillian comes in a black box made of cardboard. Inside you will find a thin foam like bag that she is tucked inside of. You will tear the top part open to reveal her. The box isn't discreet at all has plenty of pictures of the Lillian all over it. You will find on the box some helpful information from it being waterproof (I didn't test this), having 7 functions as well as the measurements which is always a plus. You can use the box for storage if you like but it won't last very long with continued opening and closing of the box. I wouldn't say that it is all that grand for gift giving if you are trying to be discreet about it.
Care/Storage
Caring for Lillian is pretty simple, an there are a few ways you can clean her.
1.)Use an antibacterial toy spray-Spray the toy down an wait a few minutes before wiping it clean
2.)Using warm water and antibacterial soap-Using warm water and antibacterial soap you can clean Lillian up in the sink since she is waterproof. Make sure to rinse thoroughly an dry before storing
3.)Toy wipes or baby wipes-You can use either to wipe her down this however will not kill any bacteria on the toy.
4.)10% bleach solution-10% bleach to 90% water is a good way to sterilize your silicone toys if you plan to share them or are yielding extra caution in your toy play with just yourself. You will want to soak your toy for 10 minutes or so then rinse thoroughly and dry before storing.
Even though Lillian is waterproof you don't want to place her in boiling water or the dishwasher as extreme temperatures can damage her motors.
It is recommended to use water based lubricant on silicone toys as other lubes can damage the material. If you like using silicone or hybrid lubes make sure to spot test on a part of the toy that will not be inserted into the body. Place the lube on this spot for 10 minutes or so then wipe away inspecting the material for damage, if no damage is present then you should be good to use the lube on the whole toy.
Storing is pretty simple, you can either slip Lillian into the box or foam bag she came in. If you don't like that idea and prefer not to keep the packaging that it comes in you can put it in a Ziploc bag or purchase a toy pouch. Some toy materials can react with others so it is best to keep all toys separate from each other.
Experience
My experience overall wasn't all that good or all that bad with Lillian, I guess its all in how you like your playtime to go. If the toy is designed for penetration as well as clitoral stimulation I expect the toy to work in that manner, sadly I had to finagle it in order for it to work right for me. With the shaft being so short it was hard to get the perfect position I needed to get very shallow penetration with clitoral stimulation. In other words it was a NO GO for penetration pretty much. With the length being around 3.5 inches for the insertable length it was hard. So far this is the ONLY vibrator that was a dual purpose that I wasn't able to use both the shaft and the clitoral attachment. The very tip barely was able to inserted when the clitoral attachment was placed right where I needed it. This MAY NOT be an issue for everyone but it was for me. The real question here though is did I hit the Big O, yes with work and moving back and forth from penetration to no penetration to get clitoral action I was able to reach orgasm. Will I go through this ever again? Probably not Lillian will probably find her way to the back of the toy drawer an only be used for teasing purposes.
Aside from the above issues I will say that being powered by 1AAA batteries she packs some power which is awesomely great especially for those of us who like lots of power in our toys.
I will give her a 3/5 rating with 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.
