Leaf+ Fresh Review
When making a wishlist for TabuToys I came across a new product from the Leaf line that I wanted to try. I have the Vitality from the 1st generation of Leaf toys. I wanted to see how they changed and improved. Leaf also changed the color of their products in the Plus Line so you can tell the difference. The original Leaf toys were lime green as a sign of being an Eco Friendly Sex Toy. Normally I get a good to go email with what is being sent out or a sorry it's a no go but we have these items available for review. I didn't get anything back to my email. On Christmas Eve though I had a package laying on the front porch with the Leaf+ Fresh inside. Below you will find more information on the Fresh+.
Overview/Use
The Fresh+ is an Eco Friendly vibe that is rechargeable. Fresh+ would be best used for those who are female bodied an looking for a good clitoral vibe. You can also use the Fresh+ to stimulate the nipples, testicles and even the penis shaft. You can also use the Fresh+ for neck massages or even back massages for your partner. I believe that those who are beginners, advanced or wanting introduce toys into your relationship the Fresh+ could be good for you. There is nothing intimidating about the Fresh+ aside from power if you are new an accidentally get the highest power setting first. There are settings that will work with every persons needs.The design is pretty simple and easy to hold.

Material
Fresh+ made with a 100% silicone overlay on the outside. I am not cutting open my Fresh+ to find out but I am sure that there is a plastic shell inside since there isn't really any give to the material aside from a little plushness in the corners. Silicone is nonporous, phathalates and latex free. What does this mean for you as a toy user? If you have had a reaction to other materials such as jelly it has chemicals in them and are porous so bacteria can live inside the toy as it isn't nonporous like silicone is. If you are prone to infections or you plan to share your toys silicone is the best material when it comes to toy material selections. Silicone unlike many other toy materials can be sterilized so if you ended up with an infection before you showed symptoms an used your beloved Fresh+ before knowing it isn't ruined!! Simply follow the care instructions listed below to find out how to sterilize your silicone toys.
Silicone has no scent to it whatsoever so that is a plus as well. I have gotten toys that smelt like a shower curtain and left me with a headache instead of pleased. No worries with silicone since they are scent free. There is no texture that will add to the pleasure of that the Fresh+ will bring to you. The only texture you can feel with your fingertips and see is around the charging port hole, it has a few emblems showing you not to toss your vibe in the trash, the voltage of the charger and the Power Bullet logo. Underneath the power button you will find the Leaf logo, none of these logos aide in stimulation. All parts that will come in contact with you body are smooth. Overall it is pretty seamless to a point, you can see the seam but there is no rough edges or any of that from it. You can see the seam but not feel it. Some silicone materials depending on the finish can have a drag to it an you guessed it the Fresh+ has a drag but you can easily fix that with lubricant.
Controls & Functions
Fresh+ has one simple control that controls everything from the power to the patterns. The Leaf Fresh+ is rechargeable an has a lithium-polymer battery. You get a USB charging cable that you can plugin to your computer or you can plug it into the wall via a USB wall adapter. The initial charge didn't take more then an hour to hour and a half however, the Tabutoys website states to charge for 3 hours on initial charge. The manual is pretty much a universal manual for all the Leaf+ toys, an it states that the charging time may vary depending on the battery and the toy. When you plug in your Fresh+ you will see a red light appear this means that your toy is charging. You cannot use your Fresh+ while it is charging, there is a setting inside that locks the toy while charging. Once the charge it complete the red light will disappear. Your Fresh+ will be locked once removing it from the charger. To unlock you will want to hold the power button down for 4 seconds an it will unlock.
It locks?! Yes the Fresh+ locks while charging but you can also lock it after playing for storage or travel purposes. You can take your Fresh+ on that business trip or your trip to anywhere really without worry of it accidentally turning on. The locking feature helps you feel okay about traveling an someone finding it cause it went off no worries lock it an it won't turn on til you hold the button down for 4 seconds. When holding the button down for 4 seconds you will see a light flash it looks purplish/blue once that flashes you will know your Fresh+ is locked. To unlock repeat the process you used to lock it.
The Fresh+ has 3 steady vibration modes and 2 pattern modes to choose from. I am personally a steady vibration woman but no fear for those who like patterns. In the steady mode you have low, medium and high settings. When it comes to patterns you have escalation and escalation with pulsation. The choice is your's on what you want! If you like a toy with memory then you are in luck as the Fresh+ has just that it will remember the setting you were on when you power it off. When you turn your Fresh+ back on no matter if it is a few minutes or a few days since you last used it, it will power on to the last setting you used. If you want to "lock" a setting into place for the memory instead of cycling back through the patterns to power your Fresh+ off simply get to the setting you want then hold the power button for 3-4 seconds an it will power off. To clear the memory just cycle all the way through the patterns til your vibrator powers off.
How long will a charge last?! That is a good question and it also depends on what setting you use the most. I use the 3rd setting which is the highest steady vibration setting. I am sad to report that with in 5-10 minutes of playtime I felt a MAJOR decrease in power. If you need a long play session this might not work so well for you as the power dwindles quickly.

Like with the previous Leaf line the Fresh+ comes in a sturdy cardboard box. In no way is the box discreet as it shows photos of the Fresh+ as well as stating that it has "Stronger Vibrations" and has the Leaf Vibes link on the front. It has lime green and purple lettering. It will come wrapped in clear shrink wrap plastic. If you open the magnetic flap that helps hold the box closed you will see a removable velcro "folder" like insert, inside that you will find your owner manual. Remove this "folder" to reveal your Fresh+. Underneath the manual you will find your Fresh+ in a plastic bag with a lubricant warning label on it (see care instructions for photo), storage pouch and USB charger. Everything you need to store and charge your Fresh+ is in this little package. If you don't want to keep the packaging since it comes with a storage pouch that will hold both vibe and charger you can recycle the box that it arrives in. If you plan to give the Fresh+ as a gift the packaging is great for that as well. The box works well for storage too, even though it does come with a storage pouch I prefer to use original packaging. I love the Leaf packaging as it isn't flimsy like I have seen some companies use, you won't have to worry about getting a crumpled plastic or thin cardboard box.

3.)Toy Wipe or Baby Wipes-Wipe down your toy thoroughly with wipes and dry before storing.
4.)10% Bleach Solution**-Mixing 10% bleach to a sink of water let your vibe soak for 5-10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly an dry before storing.

While I am sure you have seen it around the net and I have mentioned it in posts before boiling and the dishwasher can sterilize your silicone toys. Do NOT boil or place your Fresh+ in boiling water or the dishwasher even though it is waterproof. Extreme temperatures can damage your motors making your Fresh+ worthless and not operable. Several people need the help of a personal lubricant when using toys especially silicone if they are draggy. When using a silicone toy it is recommended that you use a water based lubricant. Silicone lubes can damage your silicone toys. As you can see to the right the folks who manufacture the Leaf products states not to use silicone lubricants as it will damage the finish of the Fresh+ an voiding your warranty. If you MUST use a silicone or hybrid lubricant you can spot test on a part of the vibe that will not being coming in contact with your sensitive parts. If you wipe away the lube an see a reaction to the material use a water based lubricant.
Storing the Leaf+ is made simple since it has its very own toy pouch that was included inside. The pouch is big enough to hold vibe, user manual and charger. Make sure that your silicone toys aren't touch as they can have a reaction to other materials causing a melted toy mess.
My Experience
I had a decent experience with the Fresh+, the controls were easy to use and it didn't put off a lot of sound. One a 1-5 scale with 1 being the lowest I would say that the Fresh+ has the sound level of 1. Power on the Fresh+ is pretty decent an has some rumble to them as well as some buzzy feeling but not horribly bad. On a 1-5 power level with 5 being the highest I would give this around a 4 in power. I am most disappointed in the fact that the power decreases rather quickly that could be a setback for some people and it could work just fine for others. Again the power lasting depends on the setting and how long the session is. I used mine on the highest steady vibration setting an power started to decrease within 5-10 minutes. I love that the Fresh+ has an ergonomic shape and it is pretty simple to hold. The almost heart-like shape fits so perfectly in the hand. Very easy to hold and maneuver to get it where you want to feel the vibrations. I would say that even though the power decreases rather fast I will be getting use out of my Fresh+even if it is saved to use on a partner.
