Give It Up! From CalExotics-Review
I was sent out two different toys for the month of February since I didn't get my January Sexpert item. The Give It Up! is apart of the Up! collection from CalExotics this particular vibe is a newbie to the toy market. What is it like? Did it work the way I needed it to? Read on to see photos and learn more about this vibe.
Overview/Use
The Give It Up! comes in 3 colors Pink, Purple and Teal. Which this is good if you want to try out the Give It Up! but don't want to add more pink or purple to your toy arsenal since most all toys come in those colors. My Give It Up! is purple.
Give It Up! is a G-Spot vibrator that is geared towards those who are female bodied an looking for G-Spot stimulation. Please don't use this anally one yourself or your partner!! While it looks like it can provide awesome P-Spot stimulation the design doesn't make Give It Up! a toy that can be safely used for anal stimulation.
While I don't find the Give It Up! intimidating some who are newer to toys might either by the texture, girth or the major curve. The shaft on the Give It Up! is 4.5 inches long with approximately 3.5 of that being insertable. Girth measures in at 1.5 inches which with a hard toy can seem bigger especially if there is no give.
Matertial
The Give It Up! is made out of a few materials I will list them individually below with a description of the material.
Silicone-is nonporous, hypoallergenic, phathalates free, latex free and can be sterilized. The shaft is the only part made of silicone but that is good since its the only part being inserted into the body. There is very little give to this silicone so it is best to be careful with how hard you thrust. Also, since there is minimal give the shaft can feel bigger then the 1.5 inches of girth.
ABS Plastic/PU Coating-is nonporous, hypoallergenic, phathalates free and latex free. ABS Plastic can't be sterilized at all.
ABS Plastic With Silver Plating-has the same exact properties of the ABS Plastic. I am a bit leery since it says "plating" as with most things that have plating it usually peels off. I will let you know if I experience any of that later on down the road.
The Give It Up! has major texture that can add to the stimulation. There are bumps, lumps and ridges that can explore your vagina. If you aren't into texture on your vibes you may want to forgo picking up the Give It Up!.
Functions & Design
Give It Up! has the i10 function meaning there are 10 different speeds or patterns to choose from. They vary from steady vibrations to roller coaster patterns. I will try to describe them a little further down in the review.
Give It Up! is powered by 2 AAA batteries which are not included when you purchase the toy. There is pretty decent power for only being powered by 2 AAA batteries. To get the battery compartment open you will need to simply twist off the bottom part of the Give It Up!. Once you have the batteries properly in place make sure you tighten up the cap so no moisture can get inside. If you like shower play or you are a squirter an you are worried about damaging your toys, have no fear as the Give It Up! is waterproof so you can take it in the shower or wash it in the sink with no issues.
You will find that Give It Up! only has 1 control which is located on the bottom of the battery cap. This one and only button controls all 10 functions. With only one button to use it makes your masturbation sessions so much easier. If you need to change the speed while playing you won't have to figure out which button to hit since there is only 1 to choose from. When the Give It Up! is powered on the little clear/whitish ring will glow. You will find while playing with it in your hands before using it that the light flashes with the pattern you are on. If you need to power off the Give It Up! in a pinch simply push the control button down for 3-5 seconds an it will power off. Sometimes we get interrupted while playing an we have to turn off our toys and have to go back through all the modes to get to the one we were on. You don't have to worry about loosing the mode you were on because Give It Up! remembers what setting you left off on. Yes, you read it the Give It Up! has a memory setting within it.
I have to say that Mr. Give It Up! is a little on the louder side of things. If you have a roommate, live at home with family or are trying to hide what you are doing so your kids aren't knocking on your bedroom door, I suggest have the radio or T.V. on. Using underneath the covers may help on drowning out the vibrations but more then likely not by much. Could Give It Up! be heard through a closed door? It very well could be which is why I recommend having some type of background noise to drown out the noise.
When it comes to the vibrations I find them buzzy and not rumbly but there is some decent power behind it. Will clits of steel or power queens enjoy this? They could but if they aren't into buzzy vibrations I doubt it. I will do my best to describe the patterns below. I can tell you that Give It Up! starts on the highest level of vibration when you first turn it on.

When it comes to the strength I will say that it is around a 3.5 on vrooms and I will also say around a 3 on buzz (sound)
With the way the curve is in this toy it makes it a lot easier to hold. It is more ergonomically shaped which makes it easier to hold.
Packaging
When it comes to the packaging for the Give It Up! I wasn't thrilled by it. Why do I care what the packaging looks like and why do I tell you all? Well I like storing my toys in original packaging makes them easier to find instead of digging through toy pouch after toy pouch. The box is made out of cardboard so it is able to be recycled instead of tossing it in the trash. In no way is the box discreet so be aware of your surroundings when opening your box when your items come in. You will find pictures, specs and so much more from the box alone. Once inside you will find Mr. Give It Up! in a plastic bag sealed. Somewhere in the box you will also find the Owner's Manual that is pretty universal. The packaging isn't good for long term storage and I am sure I will have to replace it eventually. If you leave the box laying around the house people will know what it is as it screams sex toy.
Care & Storage
Since Mr. Give It Up! is made of silicone and plastic he should be simple to clean, but there are a few trouble spots to lookout for.
Remember silicone CAN be sterilized but plastic CANNOT be sterilized.
To clean the silicone part of the shaft there are several ways to clean it but only a few that will sterilize the ONLY the silicone shaft. A (*) will be placed by the ways to sterilize your silicone on the Give It Up!. If there is not an (*) beside the cleaning option it is the ONLY way you can clean the ABS Plastic parts as well as the silicone but cannot sterilize the material. It is recommended that you clean your toys BEFORE & AFTER each and every use and between sharing with a partner or your own orifices.
1.) Antibacterial Toy Cleaners-These come in an array of options some are sprays and some are gels that actually have to be rinsed off in the sink using warm water. If you use one that has to be washed off with water make sure you rinse your Give It Up! thoroughly before use or storing. For the spray cleaner spray the entire toy let the cleaner sit for a minute before wiping clean.
2.) Warm Soap & Antibacterial Soap-Using an antibacterial soap to wash your Give It Up! will get it clean but won't sterilize it. Make sure you rinse thoroughly before using or storing.
3.) Toy Wipes/Baby Wipes-I personally prefer wipes as a pre-clean to my cleaning process with my toys. Using these wipes are really good to get the major bodily fluids off before using a toy spray.
4.) **10% Bleach/90% Water Solution-You can wipe down or soak your Give It Up! for a few minutes. Once you wipe or soak the shaft rinse thoroughly before using or storing.**
When it comes to storing your Give It Up! you have a few options an those are as follows:
Toy Pouch-You can purchase toy pouches designed to store your sex toys in from most toy shops. Toy pouches can keep the toy discreet when storing.
Ziploc Bag-While this may seem a cheap and non discreet way of storing your vibe it will help keep it from touching other toy materials which can cause reactions when together, thus ruining your toys.

My Experience
So....The verdict is in on the Give It Up! I would say that it is a good toy for the most part. When it comes to the curve and texture some will like it and others will hate it. I had no issues with either. I have to say the MAIN downfall on this one is the same as I had in my Silicone Bendies "O" Review, the control button is in a horrible spot. I can understand that it is in a semi easy to reach area while you are playing BUT it is super easy to accidentally change the settings. This very well could for just about anybody unless you are a size queen then this vibe won't work.
