For the month of February the wonderful folks over at CalExotics sent me out 2 items since I didn't receive my January item. The Silicone Bendies "O" was in the box I received, it is one of the many new toys from CalExotics. To learn more keep on reading below to find information, pictures and my experience.

Overview/Use

Silicone Bendies come in 3 different texture options which is pretty neat. Silicone Bendies "O" is available in 3 color options Blue, Pink and Purple, I received mine in pink! I love that CalExotics is expanding some of the toy colors as most of you know pink and purple saturate our collections right?!

Silicone Bendies "O" is a traditional vibrator style that is a little different from the rest and would be beginner friendly. Since Silicone Bendies "O" doesn't have a flared base it isn't anal play friendly as it can slip right on inside. Silicone Bendies "O" is geared towards those of us who are female bodied and have a vagina. This particular vibe can be used in many ways from regular penetration to G-Spot stimulation just by bending it to a curve. I like the "bendie" feature since not all G-Spot toys have the right curve some women need. While many think toys work the same for every woman out there it doesn't. Having the bendie option this vibe can cater to more women!! I personally believe both beginners to advanced toy users can enjoy the Silicone Bendies "O", advanced users who are size queens might not enjoy this one. Silicone Bendies "O" measures in at 6.5 inches long with about 6 of those inches being insertable. The thickest part of the Silicone Bendies "O" is 1.5 inches which it at the tip of the bulbous head then it gets thinner in the middle of the shaft.There is some give in the silicone shaft but not much so it may feel bigger then 1.5 inches since its not a squishy toy.

Material

The name says it all Silicone Bendies "O" is made out of silicone for the most part but it does have ABS Plastic with and without silver plating. All the materials used to make the Silicone Bendies "O" are nonporous, latex free, phathalates free, hypoallergenic and body safe!

Silicone can be sterilized while plastic cannot. I will explain at the end in the "Care Section" on how to sterilize the shaft of your Silicone Bendies "O". A lot of the times silicone is known for having a draggy feeling to it an this is partly true with this particular toy but it isn't too bad. You can fix the draggy feeling with a little personal lubricant.

When it comes to texture the Silicone Bendies "O" doesn't have any on the insertable shaft. On the base of the battery cap you can find ridges and that is the only texture but can't pleasure yourself with it.

Functions & Design

If you look at Silicone Bendies "O" while its sitting in its packaging it looks simple and easy. Even though this vibe looks kind of Plain Jane it really isn't. What makes this vibrator different from all other traditional vibes that ARE Plain Jane is the fact that you can bend your Silicone Bendies "O" anyway you want! Do you need a slight curve for G-Spot stimulation or do you need a major curve to stimulate your G-Spot? Either way you need it Silicone Bendies "O" has it.

If you are one of those who need patterns in your vibrations you are in luck Silicone Bendies "O" has 10 speed/patterns. As I am NOT a pattern person so many of the patterns seem the same to me. You have high, medium, low in steady vibrations followed by different speeds of pulsations available to rock your world. When you first power on your Silicone Bendies "O" you will come to the HIGHEST steady setting. I find it kind of odd that all the newer toys from CalExotics are now starting off in the highest speed which I guess is good for me as I prefer the highest setting on my toys. I wouldn't say that the vibrations are rumbly at all but they also aren't super buzzy either. Are you worried someone will hear what you are doing behind closed doors? No worries, I don't believe someone would be able to hear the vibrations through a closed door. If you are worried someone may hear them turning on the T.V. or radio is a simple fix.

The Silicone Bendies "O" is powered one by 1 single push button on the bottom of the battery cap. Silicone Bendies "O" is powered by 3 AAA batteries that are not included with purchase. Which I would say it gives okay power being powered by 3 tiny little batteries. To power on your Silicone Bendies "O" you will want to push the round button on the bottom of the battery cap. Pushing the power button once will get you the highest speed first UNLESS you were using another speed before turning it off. Yes, you read it right the Silicone Bendies "O" has a memory setting inside of it that remembers the last speed you were on when you powered it off. To power off Silicone Bendies "O" you will want to hold the power button down for 3-5 seconds.Super easy to power on/off. When you power on the Silicone Bendies "O" the frosted circle around the power button will illuminate. This light will stay illuminated while on as well as flashes to the patterns when used. I would rate the vibration powers to go from 1 on lowest settings-3.5 on the highest settings meaning that the medium settings are around about a 2-2.5 an that is out of a 1-5 rating scale.

According to the packaging as well as the CalExotics website the Silicone Bendies "O" is waterproof. When you go to either play in the shower or just to wash your Silicone Bendies "O" off in the sink make sure your battery cap is on right and tight. Making sure everything is tight and secure will keep your Silicone Bendies "O" safe from getting water inside and no longer being able to bring you your "O".

In no way, shape or form is the Silicone Bendies "O" discreet while a child won't know what it is if they find it snooping through things an adult will. If you wanted to travel with this I would recommend taking the batteries out in case the button accidentally gets pushed. I am sure we don't want to explain why your luggage is vibrating under the plane right?

Packaging

I am not a huge fan of the packaging but it is better then the cardboard box that I have gotten with some of my other items from CalExotics. The Silicone Bendies "O" comes in a plastic blister pack. This isn't horrible packaging but not my fave. As you can see in the picture on the left the packaging isn't discreet at all. So this original packaging also wouldn't make for a good gift giving unless it was around people you didn't care knowing you have new toys. You can use the blister packaging as a means of storing your Silicone Bendies "O" if you like keeping toys stored in their original packaging. If you want to toss the packaging that is fine too since its made out plastic with paper insert you can recycle it as well. Inside you will find the "Owner's Manual" that is not really a manual so to speak, it gives you the info on inserting batteries and all that. The "Owner's Manual" is pretty much a generic leaflet that covers an array of items offered by the folks over at CalExotics.

Care & Storage

It is very important that you clean your toys BEFORE & AFTER each and every use! If you share your Silicone Bendies "O" with a partner make sure you sterilize it before you use it yourself unless you are already fluid bonded, even then I would still wash it. Silicone can be sterilized where at the ABS Plastic cannot be. I will put a (*) next to the ways to sterilize the silicone.

1.)Antibacterial Toy Cleaners-These come in many forms from sprays to gels that you actually have to rinse off in the sink. Using toy sprays is usually the way I go so I don't have to carry toys through the house. Sprays are simple and easy to use simply spray down your Silicone Bendies "O" let the spray sit on it for a minute then wipe clean. If you are using a gel in the sink that has to be washed off, slather up the whole toy let sit for a few minutes. Once you have waited a few minutes rinse thoroughly with hot water and dry before storing.

2.) Antibacterial Soap-Using a normal antibacterial soap will get the job done. Slather up your Silicone Bendies "O" and rinse with hot water. Make sure you rinse and dry thoroughly before storing.

3.) Toy Wipes/Baby Wipes-While these are super convenient they don't really kill germs. I prefer using wipes as a pre-clean of my toys as I am super picky on how my toys are cleaned.

4.) **10% Bleach/90% Water-This is the only way you can sterilize the silicone shaft on your Silicone Bendies "O". You will want to mix 10% bleach to 90% of water you can either soak for a minute or wipe it down with a rag that has the solution on it. Once you either soak or wipe down with a rag make sure you rinse thoroughly and dry before storing.**

When it comes to storing your Silicone Bendies "O" you want to keep it off other materials as some materials can react with each other. There are a few ways you can do this:

1.) Using the original packaging-I know many like to toss their packaging as some of the original packaging can be bulky an take up a good bit of room

2.) Ziploc Bag-A cheap and easy way to go

3.) Purchasing or making your own toy pouches-You can find toy pouches on many toy sites, local toys stores or you can make your own

Lube Compatibility

When it comes to lubricants you have to be careful when it comes to silicone toys. It is recommended that you only use water based lubricants. If you only use silicone or hyrbrid lubricants, make sure you spot test on a part of silicone that isn't going to get inserted into the body. If there is no reaction after the lube sitting on the silicone for a few minutes you should be fine to use the lube with the Silicone Bendies "O".

My Experience

So how did the Silicone Bendies "O" go with me? Surprisingly I LOVE this vibrator an that is saying something since traditional vibes never do much for me. I love that I can bend the Silicone Bendie "O" with a little curve or a major curve. When being this vibe so it is inside curved up towards my G-Spot it stays in place while I use my wand or bullet vibe for clitoral stimulation. The bulbous head on the Silicone Bendies "O" felt wonderful while it was in place and while thrusting as you could feel the bulb as you approached the slender middle of the shaft.

While I LOVE this vibrator I have to say I HATE the controls especially the location. I am not sure about ya'll but I personally prefer steady high speed vibrations! Well when it comes to thrusting you are going to get whatever setting pops up if you hit the control button on the bottom of the shaft. I honestly think the placement of the power controls absolutely suck! I say that in the nicest way possible because, nothing scream what in the hell I was about to cum when the setting changes. Yes, I have issues continuing into my orgasm if the vibration I needed changed on me. I want to mention another reason I don't like the control button, it is very sensitive which has its pros and cons. I put the Silicone Bendies "O" back in the package with the batteries in it because I was going to finish the review, well the package fell out of my hand with the vibrator inside.....Yep you guessed it, it powered on an was vibrating away. Make sure before you store your Silicone Bendies "O" or travel with it to remove the batteries. Removing the batteries can help you in so many ways, batteries can bust inside an ruin your toys. If you are trying to travel with this in tow it will go off at the slightest touch you will either be embarrassed or just end up with dead batteries upon arriving at your destination. Last but not least, if you are storing it at home an something accidentally pushes against it you are left explaining to your kids, mom, brother, friend, neighbor pretty much whoever may be around when it goes off. I am sorry you can't pass this one's vibrations off as a cell phone.
