Admiral By Pleasure Works Review
I received the Admiral for review thanks to the folks over at Good Vibrations, this is my first review item from them and I am excited to get this partnership started! Admiral is manufactured by Pleasure Works and is a realistic dildo. Whether you are male or female bodied you can enjoy the Admiral since he is anal safe as well as being harness compatible. Since there is a decent curve ladies you will get amazing G-Spot stimulation while the gentlemen will get amazing P-Spot stimulation.
I would say that whether you are a beginner when it comes to using sex toys you could easily use the Admiral as a beginner dildo. I am a seasoned toy user but I am glad to have had him added to my collection. If you are a size queen/king you will let down by Admiral's size. Material
What is the Admiral made out of? Well here is your answer the Admiral is made out of silicone which is a nonporous material that can be sterilized. Silicone is not only nonporous but is also hypoallergenic, latex free and phathalates free which is great! If you are allergic to certain materials or are looking for a material where you will not end up with a horrid rash after masturbating choose silicone. Silicone is an amazing material since it has so many different densities, shapes and textures. When it comes to the Admiral there is a few different textures the head is very realistic and phallic which I love while others are turned off by the realistic look. The head of Admiral has a somewhat of a matte finish to it as it resembles the head of a real penis. Admiral's testicles have the same finish and feeling as the head does. The shaft has semi glossy smooth feeling to is aside from the veins that are risen on the shaft.
Admiral has a decent amount drag when in use if you don't use enough lubricant so make sure whether you are using vaginally or anally that you apply the proper amount of lubricant. Design
The design of the Admiral is perfect for G-Spot stimulation or P-Spot stimulation with the slight curve in the shaft. Admiral has the perfect "mushroom" head but some ladies may have issues with "Corona" gland getting caught on their pelvic bone where others may not have an issue with that at all. Packaging
When it comes to Admiral's packaging there really isn't all that much too it and the whole thing you can recycle instead of tossing it in the trash. While the box that Admiral arrives in gives you a good bit of information there will be no need to hold on to the box. Inside you will find Admiral inside a plastic bag that has no way of being closed. So the packaging aside from shipping purposes is pretty pointless as it isn't all that grand for storage purposes. As you can see by clicking on the photo the box gives lots of information. The packaging is of course non discreet so if you room with a roommate or live with family or kids are in your home you would want to discard the box right away if you are not comfortable with your roomies, friends, kids or family finding the box. Toss it right on in the recycling bin and grab a Ziploc Bag an toss Admiral in there.
Care/Storage
Caring for your Admiral is going to be pretty simple as it is a silicone toy but there are several ways you can clean him and a few will sterilize him. If you are sharing your Admiral with anyone in which you are not fluid bonded with you will want to sterilize Admiral even though he is nonporous.
No matter how you choose to clean Admiral make sure you are cleaning him BEFORE and AFTER each an every use. You will want to allow him to air dry and avoid using towels that will leave lint behind on him.
Antibacterial Toy Cleaner
I mostly use a spray toy cleaner that I spray down my toys allow it to sit a minute before wiping clean.
Toy Wipes/Baby Wipes
You can go this route as well I mainly use toy wipes or baby wipes as a pre-clean to make sure I get most of the lubricant or bodily fluids off.
Hot Water & Soap
You can easily wash your Admiral off in the sink with antibacterial soap with hot water. Make sure to rinse thoroughly before use or storing.
The following 3 ways will sterilize your Admiral
Top Rack Of Dishwasher
Toss Admiral into the dishwasher an run it without any type of dish soap. Allow to dry before storing.
Boiling
You can boil up your Admiral for about 5 minutes and removed from the pot with tongs or allow him to rest in the water til it has cooled off.
10% Bleach 90% Water
You can soak your Admiral in a bleach solution for 5-10 minutes, make sure you rinse thoroughly before use or storing.
My Experience
I had a wonderful experience with the Admiral minus the drag even with all the lubricant I used with him and his love for lint. I was able to get wonderful G-Spot stimulation an with the way the head has some texture but not a lot was amazing against the G-Spot. I will say though I did have issues with the "Corona" gland getting caught on my pelvic bone. I was able to use the small base as a handle while thrusting but, the best way I was able to get the right type of pleasure I was looking to get was by thrusting with my hips as if I were under my partner. By thrusting with my hips I was able to get the head to hit all the right places. While Admiral doesn't have any vibrations you can pair it with a good clitoral vibe if you needed to. I used my Salsa for clitoral stimulation.
I give the Admiral a 5 out of 5 review score!
