Pleasure Wigs 2-Toned Purple & Black & Wig Cap Review

As we all know Halloween is right around the corner so many are prepping to get the PERFECT costume together as they get all these invitations to all their friends Halloween parties. Tabu Toys isn't just toys, lubes, lotions and potions you can also get adult costumes as well as costume accessories there too. Most folks once they head out picking out the perfect costume they will be searching for the perfect accessories which often times include a wig especially if their natural hair color doesn't compliment the outfit. I love the Pleasure Wigs 2-Toned Shoulder Length Wig love the purple in it as well as with the way it is layered with the black. Tabu Toys has expanded their selection of wigs as when I first started seeking out a wig just for a change up, roll play or photo shoot they had nothing but short wigs such as the Page Boy Wigs. You will find that the 2-Toned Shoulder Length Wig has bangs, this is a new one for me because I haven't had bangs in forever like the 3rd grade forever ago.

I found several wigs on Amazon that I swooned over an wanted so bad but I always held out an never placed the order. You can imagine how excited I was when I seen new wigs added to Tabu Toys site. As one can imagine there isn't much packaging when it comes to a wig and I am sure many of you are wondering why I am talking packaging first when I usually do that last right?! Well here we go, you can see that the 2-Toned Purple and Black Wig comes in a vibrant colored box with it beautifully displayed on the model. Inside the box you will find the wig inside a plastic Ziploc style bag, also inside you will find that the wig is contained inside a hairnet so it doesn't get tangled and knotted up.

You can use the bag to store your wig if you wish, if you do I would recommend placing it back into the hairnet that it arrives in. You will also find one of those Silica Gel packets inside the plastic bag, I would recommend leaving that in the bag with your wig as well if you plan to store it in its bag. The Silica Gel helps absorb moisture keeping your wig from getting damp and molding.

The Pleasure Wigs 2-Toned Purple and Black Wig can be use occasionally or on a daily basis, as it is made from quality products. The wig can be brushed just like you can your own natural hair. You will find that this wig has some natural loose curl to it so you won't need to worry about curling it as you will NOT want to do that. On the tag inside the wig it states DO NOT use: curling iron, curling kit, hair dryer or any other heated styling device. Using a heated styling device can ruin your wig as it is made out of synthetic fibers.

This wig is fully adjustable by using the elastic bands on the underside of the wig. These elastic bands have little hooks on them like strapless bras have. These hooks allow you to tighten the elastic band an hook them in place on a ribbon area just like a strapless bra has on the inside bands. With the adjustable straps this wig will fit almost any head size.

If you need to wash your wig you will want to:

-fill a basin with cool or luke warm water

-add mild shampoo and wash gently

-rinse, shake out and drip dry

-DO NOT brush while wet

-brush into desired style once dry

There is no setting necessary as the curls will bounce back to their normal condition on their own.

To keep your natural hair a bay or if your hair is super short to help keep wig in place as well as avoid irritation from the lace inside the wig you will want to get a wig cap. I received my wig cap separately from the wig so know that the wig caps are NOT include in wig purchase. The packaging is a lot like the packaging that most stockings come in. Speaking of stockings, that is pretty much what this wig cap is, it resembles fishnet stockings with both ends being open. I tied my wig cap on the end that didn't have the elastic band. When I originally tried on the cap and wig my natural hair was spilling out everywhere an the wig cap didn't stay in place. Since tying up one end the cap stays in place. I know some folks who wore wigs often an they used old pantyhose by cutting the foot off an covering their head. If you don't wish to purchase a wig cap or don't have the funds to purchase several if you plan to wear your wig daily you can cut up old pantyhose or buy the 50 cent knee highs an you get 2 caps instead of one. Of course over time just like your wig, your wig cap will need to be washed you can simply wash it with a mild soap by hand rinse an allow to air dry.

My Experience

There are several reason behind why I requested the 2-Toned Purple and Black Wig from Pleasure Wigs one is a very personal reason that I will leave out. Other reasons I chose to review a wig is because I want to play around with different hair colors, hair styles and use them for photo props when I am FINALLY able to do a Boudoir Photo Session. I have several purple items that I believe will go super well with this wig and they can all be worn out of the house to a club, Halloween Party or on just because occasions.

Whether you are looking for the perfect everyday wig, hair for a photo shoot or the finishing piece for a Halloween costume the 2-Toned Purple and Black Wig could round out the outfit.
