Posh Silicone Rhythm G
I recently became a Sexpert for CalExotics
which I was excited about since the first time I applied over a year
ago I was denied. So here we are blogging for CalExotics Adult Novelty.
All items below were provided FREE OF CHARGE in exchange for an honest
unbiased review. All thoughts are mine an were not influenced due to the
item being free.
What is it and how is it used?
The first item I got to review was the Posh Silicone Rhythm G it comes in two colors blue and purple. The Rhythm G
is best used by a woman vaginally for G-Spotting and Clitoral play.
This isn't to be used anally as it doesn't have a flared base, which
means this could get stuck and we wouldn't want that happening. I found
that the clitoral attachment didn't do much for me it might work out
well for someone else, could have to do with spacing from vaginal
opening to where my clit is located.
Material & Texture
Posh Silicone Rhythm G
is made out of Pure Silicone, meaning that is it body safe and a
nonporous material. Silicone is latex free, phathalates free meaning
that it is one of the best materials you can get when it comes to toys.
Since it is nonporous it won't hold bodily fluids and you are able to
share the toy with your partners without having to worry about the toy
harboring bacteria. If you do share though I would still recommend using
a condom. With the silicone that the Rhythm G
is made of is somewhat plush, it isn't too hard nor is it too soft. I
would say that there is some give to it but not where it is hard to
control.
You
will find up and down the shaft some texture, I would say that the
texture is great for a beginner or advanced toy player depending on what
they like. I found that when the toy was inserted that I didn't feel
the texture all that much. Aside from feeling the raised areas in the
design the Rhythm G is very smooth.
Design & Shape
This
vibrator is designed for G-Spot stimulation with a curve in the tip of
the shaft you can explore and stimulate your G-Spot. Sadly this toy
didn't stimulate mine. With a 6 3/4 inch shaft from tip to bottom I
would say this was very discreet and anyone who would see it would know
that it was a vibrator. The size isn't intimidating at all the
insertable length is 4 inches long with a diameter of 1.5 inches. For me
the length was a little short but I was able to use it with ease.
The Rhythm G
has a clitoral attachment which is 1 inch in length and 0.5 in
diameter. The clitoral attachment is suppose to stimulate the clitoris
during penetration, This did nothing for me the vibrations didn't
transfer to the clitoral arm very well. Its a small curved up arm. If
you don't require strong vibrations for clitoral stimulation this may
work for you.
Functions/Sound
Rhythm G has a simple easy push button to power it on and off, I will explain the functions below. The box says that the Rhythm G
has 3 intense vibration patterns, I didn't find them very intense. I
would describe the vibrations to be weak and buzzy rather then deep and
rumbly.
To
power on push the button once that will put you in the lowest setting
of vibrations I would say it would be about a 1 on a scale of 1-5 for
power. Push the button again you will be on the medium setting which
would be around a 2 out of 5. The third time you push the button you are
at the highest level of vibration for me that setting was a 2.5 maybe a
3 out of 5. Hitting the button one last time turns off your vibe.
I have found in order to turn off the Rythm G you must go through all the settings so if you need to turn it off super quick you have to go through all settings.
I don't find the Rhythm G
to be all that loud I can use it with my door open and no one really
question the sound so it won't be heard through a closed door or over
the T.V. The packaging states that it is waterproof, I haven't gotten
the chance to test that out to prove it true or not. I don't take my
toys to the shower too often to need them waterproofed.
Packaging
I found the packaging to be pretty simple but it isn't discreet as it has a picture of the Rhythm G right
on the front of the box. In the right corner it says made of pure
silicone. You'll find on the side of the box the features the toy has
such as being made of luxurious silicone, easy push controls and the
speeds. On the back you will See pretty much the same information in 5
different languages. Inside you will find the Rhythm G inside
a clear plastic bag with a piece of tape over it. Nothing fancy at all,
if you were to gift this item I would wrap it or do a gift basket with
other items. While I use the packaging for storage I can say that it
won't hold up long if you are using it a lot and removing the toy all
the time and putting it back in there. You can either put it in a Ziploc
bag or a toy pouch of your choosing.
Care/Maintenance
Caring for your Rhythm G
is pretty simple I use an antibacterial toy cleaner, I spray the toy
down and let the cleaner sit for a few minutes before wiping clean. You
can also wash with mild soap and warm water. I would recommend using a
water based lubricant as using silicone lubes can cause damage to your
toys.
Storage is pretty simple to I slip mine into the box it came in but you could use a toy pouch instead.
Personally
over all this toy would be good for someone who likes weaker
vibrations, this will find its way into the back of my toy drawer. I
love that it is silicone and can be cleaned where I don't have to worry
about it harboring bacteria. I find the cons to be its battery operated
and weak.
