Overview/Use
The Ceramix No.4 can be used in many ways designed for vaginal or anal play. You can safely use the Ceramix No.4 safely without having an embarrassing trip to the ER since it has a flared base. If you and your partner are into pegging you are in luck as the Ceramix No.4 is also harness compatible. The Ceramix No.4 is apart of the well Ceramix Line from Pipedream there are 12 different Ceramix toys from dildos, to vibrators right up to anal plugs. Anyone from a toy newbie to intermediate or advanced users can get pleasure out the Ceramix Line, Pipedream refers to it as Pleasure Pottery! An I have to say the line is so gorgeous in design as well as color that I would have NO issue having it displayed on my desk as I would with the Icicles Collection. Material
The Ceramix No.4 is made from natural and recyclable materials with a nontoxic as well as a nonporous sealant. Think dinner plates, soup bowls and coffee cups here yes, this dildo is made out of the same materials as the ceramic dinner play you eat off of. Ceramix No.4 not only is it nonporous, it is also latex free, phathalates free and hypoallergenic as well. Ceramic as we all know is a delicate material in a sense you don't want to go slamming it down or dropping it especially on tile or wood floors as it will break. Just as those dinner dishes the Ceramix No.4 is hard with no give to it so you want to be careful when using this dildo so you aren't bruising yourself or your partner. If something doesn't feel right please speak up to your partner and always take things slow when using hard toys.

You will also find silicone in the mix on this one! In the base of the Ceramix No.4 there is a silicone plug. This silicone plug is removable for temperature play purposes (you can read about the temperature play in the design section below). Silicone is nonporous, hypoallergenic, latex free and phathalates free.

When it comes to texture in both items it can vary the main one I will focus on though is the Ceramic as it is really the only material coming in contact with your body. Just as with the Icicles line the Ceramix line is smooth when it comes to the texture of the actual material used. The glaze that seals the ceramic leaves a glossy smooth feeling behind.

Function/Design
The purpose of the Ceramix No. 4 is to give either G-Spot (ladies) or P-Spot (gentlemen) stimulation with its bulbous curved head. With a bulbous head the Ceramix No.4 is easy to insert. Whether you are using the Ceramix No.4 vaginally or anally you will be in for a treat especially if you are able to hit all the right spot. Since the texture is a smooth sleek feel you may not need any lubrication if using vaginally aside from your own lube that your body produces. If you are using anally or are one who isn't able to produce your own personal lubricant for whatever reason you can use any personal lubricant out of a bottle whether it is silicone, hybrid or water based lube. The Ceramix No.4 is compatible with any lubricant of your choosing, you can check out the Moist Personal Lubricant which is from Pipedream. I have a few others lubes that are my go to lubes that are silicone or hybrid which would go well with the Ceramix No.4 so the choice of lube is yours!
If you are looking at the shaft you can see that it is a gorgeous shade of blue with white polka dots on it this gives it the cute but fun look. Pleasure note that colors may vary since these are handcrafted. The white polka dots can be felt with your fingertips and you could very well feel them while in use depending on how sensitive you are. I know I mentioned the "no texture" thing in the materials section that is just pertaining to the material itself and not the design. When it comes to the actual design of the Ceramix No.4 you will see that the back of the shaft is smooth with no raised areas. You will find on the front of the shaft, it has 5 ripples or ridges, this will add to the pleasure as well as stimulation while in use. The ripples I don't see them being overstimulating or that they would cause you any discomfort.
You can use the Ceramix No.4 in a few ways if you are using it alone for masturbation purposes you will more then likely be holding it in your hands. If you are using the Ceramix No.4 with a partner who is into pegging you can slip the Ceramix No.4 into a harness for the purpose of pegging. The flared base acts as a stopper when using for anal play but also makes it harness compatible.

Now let's move on to WHY the Ceramix No.4 has a silicone plug and WHY is it hollow?!
If you have any experience with glass toys or have read anything about them being great for temperature play, that is the reason behind the Ceramix No.4 is hollow!

When it comes to who this dildo will work best for that could vary due to the size which is 7 inches long with a girth of 1.4 inches. Depending on what you are use to girth wise this would work for beginners to those who are advanced toy users an everyone in between. Note though that because the material is NOT flexible and it doesn't give the girth may feel a lot bigger.

Here is how to go about temperature play with the Ceramix No.4:
First you will have to decide are you looking for the warm sensation or the cold sensation? Once you decide which way you want to go you will want to remove the silicone plug from the bottom of the Ceramix No.4 base.
After removing the plug you will either want to fill the Ceramix No.4 with ice water or warm tap water. Do NOT put boiling water into the Ceramix No.4 as this could cause serious injury to yourself or your partner!! Ceramix No.4 will maintain the adapted temperature for approximately 20 minutes. Make sure before inserting into the body that it is the right temperature to avoid injury. Please also remember that your vaginal or anal tissue is going to be WAY more sensitive then your hands will be. If it is too hot in your hands it is too hot to insert into your body safely! If you have issues with moving around heavy toys you may want to avoid adding water to the Ceramix No.4 as it will increase the weight of the dildo. Aside from the temperature change having the water sloshing back and forth can add to the sensations.
When you are done playing with your Ceramix No.4 you will want to pull the plug an drain all of the water out of it. I would recommend leaving the plug out and standing the Ceramix No.4 up on a wash rag or towel for a few hours or more to allow the inside of the dildo to dry. You want to make sure the inside is completely dry before storing or replacing the plug to avoid the growth of mold.
If you aren't looking for temperature play but you are drawn to the Ceramix No.4 or any of the other dildos in the line you CAN use it without adding water to the shaft.

Packaging
I absolutely love the packaging that the Ceramix No.4 came in while I know many don't like keeping original packaging I do. With the Peek-A-Boo window if you are in toy shop you can easily lift open the front flap to peek in to get a better look of the Ceramix No.4. The packaging is in NO way discreet at all which I personally have no issue with that but I know some of you all do since you have roommates, live at home, have kids or you have nosy people who like to look through your things when at your home. You can recycle the box itself but the foam insert inside you can easy toss into the trash. As you can see in the photo to the right that the box is very informational with what it is compatible with when it comes to lubes, temperature play friendly as well as harness compatible. There is also information in the inside flap about how pottery came about many moons ago and how it was used back before most of us were born. Now we mainly think of dishes, planters for pots and things are made out of ceramic when in reality there is more then we actually see. Pipedream calls their Ceramix Line the Pleasure Pottery which is true! It is pottery that is great to look at as well as pleasurable to bring on the orgasms you are longing for.
You will find when you open the box to remove the Ceramix No.4 that you will need to pull out the foam insert. The foam insert will have your Ceramix No.4 in it, the foams purpose is to encase the dildo to keep it safe from being damaged during shipping. I use the original packaging to make sure everything is protected just right an I won't have worries of it breaking.
Everything from what materials are used to how to go about doing the temperature play the safe way! You can also find photos of the Ceramix No.4 as well as the measurements on the packaging as well!

Care & Storage
Ceramix No. 4 is simple and easy to care for almost as easy as cleaning glass toys. Even though the Ceramix Line is made out off the same materials as our dishwasher safe dishes I would personally avoid putting it in the dishwasher or boiling it. To sterilize it I would do a 10% bleach solution to 90% water allow to soak for 5 minutes before rinsing thoroughly and drying before storage. You can also use antibacterial toy sprays, baby wipes, antibacterial soap with warm water, all of these ways will NOT sterilize your Ceramix No.4 which you will want to do if you are sharing this piece. You will also want to clean your Ceramix No.4 as well as all your other toys before and after each use. Clean between partners or orifices even if they are your own!

When it comes to storage you can either keep the original packaging that the Ceramix No.4 comes in or you can get a padded toy pouch from your favorite sex shop if they carry them. If you are crafty you can always make your own storage pouches as well. You will want to make sure which ever storage method you choose will keep the Ceramix No.4 from chipping or breaking.
Before each use you will want to inspect your Ceramix No.4 for any chips or cracks in it so you are aware if it is safe for you to use. If you notice a crack or chip do NOT use it! If you believe it is due to an issue with manufacturing you can contact Pipedream.

My Experience

Oh boy this is where the fun good stuff happens right?
I have to honestly say the Ceramix No.4 is AMAZING and has become my new favorite when it comes to the temperature side of playing. I was instantly turned on and ready to go when I felt the coldness. I am not so much into warm or hot temperatures when it comes to temp play. I used a glass of ice water to fill the hollowed out inside of the Ceramix No.4. Once I poured in the water you could instantly see the condensation on the shaft of the Ceramix No.4!! Adding any water whether hot or cold you will feel the added weight to the dildo. Personally, I didn't notice a huge difference in the weight will filled or emptied. I was still able to easily thrust with no issues do to the weight. I ran the shaft along my outer labia moving in on my inner labia as well as my clitoris which felt way different then playing with chilled glass. Once inserted I knew it was love, with the slight curve and the ribs along the shaft I could feel everything there was to feel. I was able to get amazing G-Spot stimulation, but I do have to mention that even though the curve isn't drastic I had issues with it getting caught on my pelvic bone. You may experience this issue and you may not as we are all built a little different.

I give this 5 stars across the board for sure!!!!
