I was sent the Colt Shower Shot from Erotic Toy Town for review. The Colt Shower Shot is an anal douching system that you hook up to your shower using all the items that come in the box. The Shower Shot it manufactured by Cal Exotics, this can be used by males or females to clean up before anal play. The intended use is to be able to clean out the anal cavity before engaging in anal play or anal sex. In all honesty when I got this I didn't read the whole description so I was taken back by it when it got here. I personally have no use for it since I am not really big into anal play. I have tested the waters but nowhere near needing this. I found some of the information a little misleading on the Erotic Toy Town site as in the long drawn out description is mentions materials as being jelly, but the short simple version off to the side I looked at stated this was plastic and it isn't. For me that is not something I like finding out on a site, while part of that is my fault for not fully reading the long drawn out explanation. When I look for toys I usually go right to the specs because that is where all the major information is listed. This wasn't spot on and is a little misleading, which in turn is another reason I am personally unable to use this item as I am allergic to jelly.

If you are looking for something that is discreet this isn't for you at all from the packaging right down to the toy itself you can tell what it is for. On the box you will find the wording "Spraying Water Dong" with a photo of a nude male showing his privates.

What I do know about the Colt Shower Shot is that while the dong is made of jelly it is somewhat sturdy but has give to it as well. I barely applied pressure to the dong an it smushed in leading me to believe this would be somewhat hard to insert. This is used for anal douching and should not be used vaginally.

Assembly is pretty easy you simply take the 42 inch hose that is included place the include O Rings into each end of the hose to prevent any type of leakage. If you share a bathroom or you don't have double shower heads you may find that this can become a pain to take down and put back up after each use. I am 5'4 an find that the 42 inch hose may be a problem for those who are short or even tall you could possibly purchase a new hose from your local hardware store but it isn't a guarantee that it will fit your Colt Shower Shot. Worth a shot right?!

Inside your package you will find the following items:
1- 42 inch hose
3- Black O Rings
1- 6 inch Jelly Dong

The hose is a non tarnishing,nickel free flexible hose
3 O Rings are made of rubber that fit inside each end of the hose to make sure it doesn't leak
The jelly dong measures in at 6 inches long with an insertable length of 5 inches. Over all circumference of the Colt is 4 1/4 inches with a diameter of 1 1/4 inches.

The design is pretty straight forward it is shaped like a penis from head to veins. If I were able to actually use this I would believe that have the like life shape of the head would make for easy insertion. The dong has several tiny pin holes all throughout the shaft that releases the water into the rectum to cleanse you out. Since jelly is very porous material I don't recommend sharing this even with a fluid bonded partner. Jelly can hold bodily fluid harboring bacteria that can turn into horrible things if you aren't careful. There is no way of actually disinfecting or sanitizing the Colt Shower Shot, so please be careful if you decide to share this. Most of the time it is recommend to cover sex toys with a condom when sharing if you can fully sterilize the item, however with this there is no way to use a condom on it as the water would need to escape.

To clean this I would recommend either using an antibacterial soap and hot water even though you can't fully disinfect it, I would always recommend using antibacterial cleaners when cleaning it. If you need to remove this from your shower I would disconnect an the dong lay flat to dry while allowing the hose to hang in the tub to drain and dry before storing.

I believe in using lube especially for anyone doing anything anally, water and silicone based lubes can be used with this. I would possibly try lubing up before ever turning on the water as it will wash the lube away. When you turn on the water do it very slowly as you don't want to push too much pressure up through your rectum. If you feel any type of pain STOP that means something is wrong you are either tearing or stretching something. Anal should NEVER be painful if you properly prepare yourself.
