Overview

The Embrace Sweetheart Wand is a dual function vibrator geared toward those of us who are female bodied. You are able to get vaginal penetration right along with clitoral stimulation, if you would rather have your perineum massaged you can do that as well. If you are unaware of where your perineum is, it is the small space of skin between your vaginal opening and your anus.With the bulbous thick head and flexibility you will also get a good amount of G-Spot stimulation.

Those who are male bodied can get enjoyment out of the Embrace Sweetheart Wand as well if they wanted to since it has the clitoral stimulators you won't have to worry about it being sucked into the endless black hole thus sending you to the ER. I don't know about you but I personally would NOT want to wind up on Sex Sent Me to the ER on TLC. Men with the curve and flexibility that G-Spot massage your lady can get, guess what that same tip can do for your prostate or P-Spot! If you are male bodied you can use the Embrace Sweetheart Wand anally and use the clitoral stimulators to massage your testicles.

I would say that this wand is geared towards intermediate users since the head is a little on the bigger side. The wand measures in at 4.75" long and a girth of 1.5" and each clitoral arm is 2.5" long and are 1.5" together in girth.

Material

Embrace Sweetheart Wand is made out of a few materials which include: Silicone, ABS Plastic with PU Coating and ABS Plastic with Silver Plating. So let us discuss which parts are made out of which materials as well as the safety of each material used!

Silicone

Silicone is a body safe material that is phathalate free, latex free, hypoallergenic, nonporous and can be sterilized! Beings that silicone is nonporous it means that it will NOT absorb you vaginal fluids or any fluids for that matter. If you are prone to yeast infections or anything of that nature silicone is the way to go. If you share your toys with your partners or between your own orifices silicone is the way to go as well all because it is nonporous. If using a porous material and you shared with partners, between orifices or ended up with a yeast infection you would have to toss the toy or use a condom!!!! With silicone you don't have to worry about that because its nonporous and can be sterilized so that you don't reinfect yourself or share bodily fluids between yourself and your partners. You CAN use a condom on the Embrace Sweetheart Wand if you would like just make sure it won't react with the silicone.

Silicone has no scent to it at all, I will say that it can smell like the packaging but itself alone has no scent to it.

When it comes to texture it can vary. The Embrace Sweetheart Wand has no texture to it at all it is very smooth and satiny feeling. Some silicone can have a drag to it when ran across the skin, I didn't notice that with the Embrace Sweetheart Wand.

I do want to mention there is a seam that is visible and can be felt while in your hands. The seam runs down the middle of the front and back of the shaft.

Silicone can have different densities but is never super hard and usually always has some give to it. The silicone used for the Embrace Sweetheart Wand is pretty solid in the tip of the shaft but does have some give to it but not much. The middle of the shaft and the clitoral attachments have a good bit of give to them and they are very flexible so the wand moves with you.

Plastic with PU Coating

Is well plastic with a a thin coating over it to protect the plastic from scratches. Plastic has most all of the same safety qualities that silicone does such as being, nonporous, latex free, phathalates free, hypoallergenic and body safe. Plastic however can't be sterilized the way silicone can. Plastic is hard and has no give to it at all!! The cap that is to the battery compartment is made out of the Plastic with PU Coating.

Plastic with Silver Plating

Same as the above on plastic! The silver plating is on the buttons used to control the power and functions on the Embrace Sweetheart Wand. Since it is a plating the silver on the buttons could scrape off if not careful.

Function/Design

The Embrace Sweetheart Wand as mentioned in the opening of the review is used for vaginal or anal penetration with clitoral or perineum stimulation for those who are female bodied. To the right you can see the design it pretty appealing and elegant looking in a sense. There is no penis shaped head on this vibrator which draws more people in then you would actually think.

With a bulbous and curvaceous head you are bound to get a good

G-Spot (ladies)

or

P-Spot (gentlemen) massage.

You can see where the 2 clitoral massagers are located as well. This design is unlike any other vibrator I have used so it will be an adventure as well as a first for me when it comes to the design.

There are THREE motors inside the Embrace Sweetheart Wand, but the downfall they aren't independently controlled which is a drawback for some. You will find motor #1 in the shaft, motor #2 and #3 are in the clitoral attachment one in each "ear".

The Embrace Sweetheart Wand is considered a "Luxury Vibe" but when I think of a luxury vibe it is rechargeable and well this wand is not. The Embrace Sweetheart Wand is powered by 2AAA batteries that are not included. There is decent power for it being ran off of 2AAA batteries so I guess its not all bad. I will get to the power in a few.

Under the clitoral attachment you will see 2 silver buttons these are your power button on the bottom and the function/speed button on top. According to the ~~Owner's Manual~~ or lack there of one, you will only need to push the On/Off button ONCE to power it on, this however isn't the case. To power ON/Off you will need to hold the power button down for 3-5 seconds before it powers On/Off.

Once on you can choose between 7 different functions by pushing the top button once you get to the function you want you will want to hold the button down til you reach the power level you want to use. The settings range from steady vibrations to pulsations and escalations, I personally don't get the 3 settings of steady vibrations since you can increase the power on your own so its not preset low, medium and high speed vibrations. When going through the steady vibrations you can tell there is a slight variation even using the highest setting on each low, medium and high but not enough to fully separate them into their own "function." When it comes to the pulsation and escalation you have a variance from fast to slow or slow to fast. When your Embrace Sweetheart Wand is powered on you will see a white dot appear between the control buttons, this light will also flash during certain settings such as the pulsation function. The Embrace Sweetheart Wand has no memory so you will have to reset your patterns if you have to power it off, there is also no travel lock so I recommend removing the batteries before traveling if you are taking your wand on the go. You will also notice that there is a bit of noise when powering on I don't believe it will be heard through a closed door, over the shower or the TV in your room. I mentioned shower, according the the box and CalExotics website the Embrace Sweetheart Wand is waterproof. Being waterproof comes in handy when in comes to cleaning your toys or if you are one who likes to play in the shower.

Flexibility

I have mentioned this a few times earlier on and NOW you will be able to see what I am talking about! The Embrace Sweetheart Wand is SUPER flexible so it can work for a variation of women since we aren't all spaced the same when it comes to the vaginal opening to the clitoris. Oh YES, look at that flexibility! You will be able to bend the head where you need it especially when you are trying to hit your G-Spot or P-Spot just right! Have issues with those "standard" rabbit style vibrators because the clitoral attachments aren't flexible? Your answer for that is the Embrace Sweetheart Wand since you can bend them where you need them. I would say though it would be better if they were like the Bendie O's vibrator I reviewed a few months back where you could get the shaft or clitoral attachment to STAY where you placed it by bending it.

Packaging

I have to say this is the BEST packaging I have gotten when it has come to a CalExotic toy whether it be for reviewing purposes or if I bought it. The Embrace Sweetheart Wand comes in a black box that has a sleeve over it with the name in silver embossed letters, the CalExotic logo, Love You Mind, Body & Soul on the sleeve. The back has a photo of the wand with all of the specs you want to know about the Embrace Sweetheart Wand. Under the sleeve once removed you will reveal a plain black textured box that only states Embrace by California Exotic Novelties. Neither look is really discreet but if you were to be giving this wand as a gift but wanted to not let it be flashy as to what was actually inside you can easily remove the sleeve. When you open the lid you will find your Embrace Sweetheart Wand laying in a foam bed to keep it from moving around. Under the foam you will also find the ~~User's Manual~~ which is pictured in the Function Section. If you are like me and like to use the original packaging for storage this box will be a great option even though it is on the bulkier side of things. If you decide not to keep the packaging you can recycle the box and toss the foam inserts.

I talked about silicone is a material that you can sterilize in several sections throughout the review so this is the section you will find out how to sterilize your Embrace Sweetheart Wand!

Antibacterial Toy Cleaner-these come in a few different forms a spray formula that you spritz your toy down an let it set for a few minutes before wiping clean or the toy cleaners that act as a soap that has to be washed off with water. While these cleaners have antibacterial properties it will not fully sterilize your toys

Toy Wipes or Baby Wipes-you can fully clean your toys with either type of wipes but I personally use wipes as a pre-clean method before using the toy cleaner

Antibacterial Soap & Hot Water-you are able to use tap water I prefer hot and a regular antibacterial hand soap just make sure you rinse thoroughly before drying and storing

10% Bleach to 90% Water Solution-you can sterilize your Embrace Sweetheart Wand by making a bleach and water solution, you will want to soak your wand for about 5 minutes followed by rinsing thoroughly and drying

There are other ways that silicone can be sterilized but due to the Embrace Sweetheart Wand having a motor inside you will NOT want to boil or place in the dishwasher for sterilizing purposes. If you boil or place in the dishwasher the extreme heat can damage your motors.

Storing your Embrace Sweetheart Wand is pretty simple you can either store it in its original package like I do OR you can use a toy pouch or bag that you have purchased or made yourself. You can also use a Ziploc bag which will keep it from touching other toys which can cause a reaction with materials. If you have Jelly, UR3, TPR or Latex toys you won't want it to touch your silicone toys as they can melt together if not careful.

The lubricant you will want to use with silicone toys is going to a water based lubricant. It is stated that silicone or hybrid (silicone/water) lube shouldn't be used with silicone toys as they can bind together. If you only have silicone lube or a hybrid lube you will want to spot test on a part of the silicone that will NOT come in direct contact with your body. Put a drop on the silicone an wait for about 3-5 minutes wipe off if the texture or the material changed even a little you will want to pass and go get yourself a water based lube!

My Experience

Well I am here to report one thing I am ALWAYS skeptical about and that is the waterproof function! The Embrace Sweetheart Wand is WATERPROOF! After allowing it to dry overnight after playtime in the bathtub there was no traces of water in the battery compartment. I can say though that if you plan to use in the bath please note water washes away lubrication whether it is natural or from a bottle thus, making it hard to insert. The sound of the vibrator isn't all that loud and probably can't be heard over the TV or behind a closed door IF you were using the wand out of the water. I will be the first to say that if you are trying to be discreet about using your sex toys do NOT use them in a bathtub full of water! Using under the water seems to intensify the sound an I was able to hear it over the radio I had going in the bathroom.
When it comes to the vibrations I MUST say that they are more on the rumbly side then the buzzy side of things. It isn't a deep rumble but it is there with of course the hint of buzz, I am actually happy with this vibrator. Which the girthy head though I did have some issues getting it inserted since I have been using some of my smaller toys. Having the girthier head with a shaft that moves with you is great! Means you should be able to hit your G-Spot just right or at least get in the right direction if you are still trying to find the right spot that sends you through the roof.

The few things I wish the Embrace Sweetheart Wand had is a rechargeable battery, individual controls for the shaft and the clitoral attachment as well as more power. Aside from those 2 things I would like to see on thins wand I still give it a 4/5!
